MobiLaps LLC Founder awarded Young Professional Award at MIT’s Annual ASO Science & Technology Awards

Silver Spring, MD – Dr. Kassab, the founder and current President & CTO of MobiLaps LLC was awarded the Young Professional Award at MIT’s third Annual ASO Science & Technology Awards. Dr. Kassab was selected for the award based on his scholastic, research and community outstanding achievements and contributions. The award recognizes the early career achievements of a young Arab-American scientist and technologist. This year’s award banquet also honored Dr. Charles Elachi, Head of the Jet Propulsion Lab at NASA and Vice President of the California Institute of Technology. The event was covered by a variety of media outlets including the Boston Globe (City Weekly section).

 

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Kassab thanked the organizing committee for the award and noted that “it is a tremendous honor to be recognized by one’s peers in such a manner, especially a distinguished group of peers, such as the one that formed the selection committee”. Dr. Kassab also indicated that the award made him feel more inspired and more driven to achieve his entrepreneurial goals.
